Our Range – Tucson Rifle Club

Southern Arizona Practical Shooters (SAPS) holds all of our GSSF, USPSA, and free bi-monthly practice events at the Tucson Rifle Club (TRC), one of the oldest and most respected outdoor shooting facilities in Arizona. TRC provides a safe, well-maintained range for shooters of all experience levels and serves as the home base for all SAPS competitions and training days.

The Glock Sport Shooting Foundation (GSSF) matches at TRC attract participants from across Southern Arizona who want to enjoy a relaxed and friendly competition. Each match follows the official Glock course of fire and includes divisions for both new shooters and seasoned competitors. In addition to GSSF, SAPS also hosts USPSA matches and free practice events at TRC, offering plenty of opportunities to shoot, learn, and compete.

Many SAPS members are also members of Tucson Rifle Club, which is open to the public throughout the year. TRC charges a modest day-use fee for guests, or you can become a member to receive discounted range access and additional benefits. If you shoot frequently or plan to attend several SAPS events, a TRC membership quickly pays for itself.

Located just west of Tucson along Ajo Highway, TRC features multiple shooting bays, covered firing lines, and plenty of space for practical shooting stages and training. The range is known for its friendly atmosphere, dedicated staff, and strong focus on firearm safety and education.
